The founders of Smartway2, Martin Hiles and Nigel Reading have previously enjoyed considerable success with their previous Resource Scheduling Software solution.
BusinessSolve Limited was founded in 2003 to develop and market a web-based resource scheduling software solution called Workspace Manager, which allowed corporations to book and manage their Meeting Rooms, Workspaces, Car Parking, Catering and Audio Visual resources.
After completing initial development, Workspace Manager was formally launched in 2006 with the first sale being made to Severn Trent Water Plc.
The company rapidly grew an enviable client base of circa 100 clients including; KPMG, ORANGE, O2, Derby City Council, Boehringer, South Wales
Fire & Rescue, Roche, Westminster City Council, West Lothian Council, HM Government, tMobile, Computer Associates, Royal Bank of Canada, Wipro, AXA Rosenberg, Jones Lang LaSalle, Royal Academy of Music, Punch Taverns, and Avanta Managed Offices.
Martin Hiles & Nigel Reading successfully completed a trade sale of BusinessSolve in 2011.
Originally qualified as an Electronic Engineer working in the Nuclear Medicine sector before moving to more Software orientated roles. Martin has 20+ years’ experience of working with Project Management, Cost Control Software, Asset Management and Resource Scheduling software in Marketing, Sales and Support roles.
Martin founded BusinessSolve in 2003 and played a key role in the
development of the company’s core products and services. He continued
to lead the company through many years of growth and profitability,
expanding its operations to North America in 2007 and Australia in 2009.
Martin has co-founded Smartway2 with his former colleague Nigel Reading
and again will be instrumental in the company's growth and product evolution.
Following an early career in Retail Management, Nigel moved into Enterprise Software Sales & Marketing roles in 1994. Nigel has great experience of identifying Vertical Market opportunities and management of both Channel
and Direct Sales.
In co-founding BusinessSolve, Nigel brought his entrepreneurial skills to the company and was instrumental in the growth and success of the business.
Nigel has co-founded Smartway2 with his former colleague Martin Hiles
and will spearhead the company's global Sales & Marketing activities
including building an international partner base to introduce Smartway2
to many exciting market sectors and vertical markets.
